Getting to Okinawa
Naha Airport (OKA) serves the main island of Okinawa. Direct, international flights are available from many Asian cities, such as Beijing, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore etc.
From within Japan flights to Naha airport are available from all major Japanese airports, such as Tokyo (Narita and Haneda), Osaka (Kansai and Itami), Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai etc. Many smaller airport, particularly those in western Japan, also offer flights to Naha.
Getting to the Convention Center
The Okinawa Convention Center is accessible by bus from Naha City.
Blue line: Buses 26 or 99. These buses run from Naha Airport to the Convention Center, via the Naha Bus Terminal. Get off at the “Convention Center mae” (コンベンションセンター前) stop.
Red line: Buses 32, 43, 55 or 112. These buses run from Naha Bus Terminal to the Convention Center. Get off at the “Convention Center mae” (コンベンションセンター前) stop.
Green line: Buses 20, 23, 29, 31, 63, 77 or 120. These buses run from the Naha Bus Terminal to the Mashiki (真志喜) bus stop. It is an 11 minute walk from the bus stop to the Convention Center.
Orange line: The Naha Airport and Asahi-Bashi monorail stations can be used to transfer to buses for the Convention Center.
Note that the “Convention Center mae” and “Mashiki” stops are not the final destinations of the buses; you will need to signal the bus to stop when you want to get off.
Shuttle buses will also be provided between a monorail station and the Convention Center (details to be confirmed).
