The 210th Topical Symposium of Magnetic Society of Japan/ The 73rd special meeting on nanomagnetics

Visualization and Manipulation of “Spins”

It has become more important to understand/control nonuniform spin structures and spins, particularly in the field of surface/interface magnetism, molecular magnetism and spintronics. Recent researches have also pointed out that those nanoscale spin uniformities might govern macroscopic properties such as coercivity even in bulk permanent magnets. In this symposium, a wide variety of topics related with visualization and manipulation of spins will be introduced. We invite five outstanding lecturers of this research field. We expect your active participation.
