The 242nd Topical Symposium of the Magnetics Society of Japan
Magnetic technology used in space
In recent years, there have been various R&D activities related to the space environment in the public and private sectors, and in our country, the budget for space-related activities has been increasing at a pace of more than 20% annually. Because of the harsh environment in space, it is difficult to deploy the technology used on Earth as it is, and many attempts have been made to deal with this problem by using various magnetic materials and magnetic technologies. In this workshop, six researchers active in related fields will be invited to talk about the current status of magnetic technology applications in space, examples of applications to materials development, and future prospects. We look forward to seeing you there.
