The 193rd Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan / The 45th Topical Symposium on Spin-electronics
Spin-caloritronics
– Cooperative phenomenon between magnetism and heat –
A new research field of “Spin-caloritronics”, which utilizes an interaction between spins and heat, has emerged in recent years and attracted attentions both from fundamental science and applications perspectives. The scientific insight obtained in this field is expected to provide novel functionalities to the existing spintronic device technologies. In this symposium, we will invite five researchers who are actively involved in the vanguard of Spin-caloritronics. State-of-the-art studies will be presented by the speakers during the symposium. Participants from various fields are welcome, and we encourage for those of you to take part in lively discussion.
