The185th Topical Symposium of the Magnetics Society of Japan
Element Strategy in the Magnetics Society of Japan
Japanese industry strongly depends on the rare metal elements. However, the large amounts of the rare metal elements are imported. In recent years, the consumptions of rare metal elements increase worldwide, and moreover, the producing countries of rare metal elements strengthen the export control system. Therefore, the supply of the rare metal elements may be short in Japan.
Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has been investigated about the element strategy for Japan with the core members of academia and industries, and started a new project of the element strategy in this year. In cooperation with MEXT, the societies, which are strongly related to the material researches and developments, have held the symposiums on the element strategy. The Magnetics Society of Japan (MSJ) contributes the researches and industries related to the magnetic materials in Japan. So we have planed this symposium on element strategy in MSJ. We are very much looking forward to your participation.
