The 182nd Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan
New fields in magnetics created by light
Magneto-optical effect, an interaction between light and magnetic field in a medium, is currently being investigated by many researchers and a number of new phenomena are being discovered. In particular, by using magneto-optical effect, many researches such as spin-photonics, spin wave excited by light pulse, data storage, high sensitivity sensors, and fast-switching phenomenon have been developed energetically. In this symposium, exciting and stimulating discussion among those interested in this field are highly expected.
