The 176th Topical Symposium of the Magnetics Society of Japan / The 37th Topical Symposium of Nano-Bio Magnetics
Current status and future prospects of biomedical applications of magnetic nanoparticles
Research and development of biomedical applications of magnetic nanoparticles have been activated from fundamental subjects to clinical tests. In this symposium, recent studies on diagnostic and therapeutic methods and regeneration therapy using magnetic nanoparticles are introduced. Detection of magnetic nanoparticles localized at a specific position inside of the body is significant for diagnosis. In vitro detection of magnetic nanoparticles is also expected for diagnostic applications. Recent research activities on therapeutic methods and regeneration therapy using magnetic nanoparticles are advanced drastically to a new stage for practical applications. The present status and future prospects of biomedical applications of magnetic nanoparticles are discussed. We look forward to your participation in this exciting event.
