Journal of the Magnetics Society of Japan is an English-language journal published by the Society.
It is an open journal that is published online six times a year in odd-numbered months and published on the academic website and J-STAGE. (Print distribution ended in 2015(Vol.39), 2016(Vol. 40) – currently ONLINE only.)
From January, 2023, the published articles on Journal of the Magnetics Society of Japan have been distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
If CC BY 4.0 license icon is indicated in the article, the Magnetics Society of Japan allows anyone to reuse the articles under CC BY 4.0 license terms.

The main types of papers are as follows.
Regular Article: No limit on number of pages
Letter: within 4 printed pages
Short Note: Within 2 printed pages
Review: Mainly posted by request

The Journal of the Magnetics Society of Japan accepts papers at any time, but if you are applying for the selection of the Young Scientist Award (Uchiyama Award) from a lecture paper at an academic lecture, please submit it by the announced deadline.
MSJ Distinguished Paper Award are selected from papers published in the Journal of the Magnetics Society of Japan every year.
Also, if author is a student at the time of submission, the author will be eligible for the MSJ Encouragement Award by answering the questions about your student status on the submission form.
