The 159th Topical Symposium of the Magnetic Society of Japan
The 20th Topical symposium of Spin-electronics
Fundamental physics and device application of spin functions in semiconductor
|
Recent intensive studies on "spintronics" grow the understanding about spin-function in semiconductors. The coverage of the research is expanding to include electronics, magnetics and optics. Additionally, the crossover between magnetic "metal" and "semiconductor" plays an important role to realize highly-functional spintronic devices. The spintronic devices made of semiconductor are also very compatible with the existing electronics technology.
In this symposium, we will focus on the spin function of semiconductor from the viewpoint of the fundamental physics and application. We invite the lead scientists in this field and discuss the future devices. We very much look forward to your participation.
